You just had to be there

There were sooo many exciting/good/unbelievable things that happened today that you just had to be there (not sure who "you" are, but you shoulda been there). Let's start with the lady at the hotel who informed me that she tried to call out of work today, but couldn't. So she had to come to work with "all these men today and do you think I wanna put up with their crap? NO! And I'm so hung over right now. Me and the girls had a good time last nite. In fact, I have to leave work (and hopefully make it back in time) and take my friend to her car since she was too drunk last nite". It was pretty funny. And since I butcher stories... you shoulda been there.

I waited behind approximately 60 people today for ice cream from Calabash Creamery. And it was worth it! Every last yummy good-ness bite of the "better than almond joy" homemade ice cream. It tasted like almond joy.... but better... It was sooo soooo good. You shoulda been there.

I found the cousin to the penguin that I found last year. This time in Lowes Food store in NC where they double coupons up to 99 cents!!!! (they also have a drive up slot where you can sit in your car and they'll run your groceries out to you, because they shop for you. WHAT?!). I looked like a kid in the candy store (or an adult in the Creamery store). The penguin made my day and I gladly ripped coupons off of his body. You shoulda been there!
