I pause for pennies....

I have begun collecting pennies in a pretty little applesauce jar. I am CONVINCED that I have close to $100 dollars, but really, it's probably only $10 (I am bad at spatial perception AND counting). So in order to reach my $10 ( I mean $100) goal, I collect pennies from everywhere. As my mother says, "Every mickle makes a muckle" (aka every little bit counts). For example, whenever I go to the store, I always give the cashier my silver coins. Even if the items cost 11 cents and I have 11 cents exactly, I give them 15, so that I can get back my pennies. And if my change is 1 penny, I NEVER (ever!) leave it there; I put it right in my pretty little wallet. I also pick up pennies that I see on the floor, in the parking lot, in my friends' cars, out of someone else's hands....So if we are out and you ask me if I have a penny, don't be alarmed when I say no (even if you see one in my hand, it just means that I don't have a penny for you....)
