I found out today that one of my favorite restaurants, Beef O Brady's, closed down (at least the location in Greenville did; there is still one in Clemson). And I was crushed. I would like to say that I was disturbed because now people were without a job (even my favorite server Elyse). But I was crushed for purely selfish reasons. Crushed because I really like their philly cheesesteak sandwich. Crushed because I was looking forward to watching the World Cup on Saturday there. Crushed because I still had 3 coupons to use. But most of all, I was crushed because I would no longer be able to have their amazing chocolate eruption cake. Now where am I supposed to get a chocolate cake that has cake, mousse, cream cheese, white and dark chocolate shavings?!?!? And it also brought back memories that I tried to stuff about the Jamaican Rum Bama cheesecake being discontinued at Copeland's in Atlanta. Sigh. Why oh why restaurants?!?! Why oh why?!
To recover (barely), I had a chocolate Drumstick coated in more chocolate and peanuts.
