The last decade called, they don't want their clothes back, they just want you to get rid of them....

So I decided to visit the lovely downtown area of my little town. And boy was it boomin'! Ok, not really. There were only 2 out of a total of about 5 stores that were open today. One of the stores was a gift shop that had lots of little knick knacks like an Andy Griffith dvd, greeting cards, doilies, and chocolates. I actually liked that one. Moving on in anticipation, I went into the clothes store that was next to it. Now, I'm not sure if this was a vintage clothes store or a store like Goodwill. The sizes were way small which makes me think it was vintage, but the smell was way old. I actually think I caught something from the 1970s..... Also, the clothes were not very stylish, but the prices were expensive enough that they made up for what they lacked in style. For example, there was a matching shirt and pants suit thing that had giraffes on it and was "on sale" for $10. Ahh, the whole experience was lovely.... in a not at all, creep me out, scared to go back kind of way.

Lovely piece o muffin-cake-bread that I made the other night and Ben and Jerry's peanut butter cup.
